How do I update my PINS Account email address?

  • Log in to your PINS App account.
  • At the top of your account page, select My Account.
  • At the bottom of the account Information section, click E
  • Enter your new email address, and then click Update.

  • Log in to your PINS App account.
  • At the top of your account page, select My Account, and then click My Profile.
  • At the top of the Billing Information section, click Update. Enter your new credit card information and billing address, and then click Save.
  • Log in to your PINS App account.
  • At the top of your Account page, select My Account, and then click Auto-Renewal Settings.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to turn auto-renew on or off.
  • Log in to your PINS App.
  • At the bottom of your PINS App, select Subscribe, and then Insert your card details.
  • Click on the Subscription Package you want to renew and click Renew.

It’s as easy as one-two-three:

  • Go to your App market and search for “PINS App” (Google Play Store). and search for PINS Mobile Solutions with the keyword PINS App with our logo
  • Select “Install” or “Download” when you’re given the option
  • Select and activate all of the terms and conditions to allow the PINS App use your phone features for proper functioning.
  • Once installed, open the PINS App on your phone and you will be asked to create an account with a functional email address for your username, and a password of your choice. (Security question and answer)
  • Once the download is complete, choose Open to start using the Application. Select Continue to confirm that you have read and accept the terms of the PINS End User License Agreement and Privacy Policy. On the next screen tap Continue to set up the protection. These steps can differ slightly depending on your device model, operating system version and its vendor customizations.

PINS Mobile Security is compatible with any device capable of running operating systems Android 4.0.3 or later version. PINS Mobile Security supports both Android phones and tablets. The App is compatible with all ARM Android devices. However, each vendor or manufacturer makes slight changes in their devices, so some features may behave unexpectedly or, in rare cases, not work. However, we gladly accept feedback if you experience any compatibility issue on your Android device. Please report any feedback via our Support Pages.

Yes, a 14-dayTrial version of PINS Mobile Security can be activated one time per email address.

  • Log in to your PINS App account.
  • At the top of your Account page, select My Account, and then click Change Password.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to Change Password.

To recover your PINS Account password, access the PINS Account login screen and click forgotten your password? You will receive an email to set up a new password.

  • How do I recover my password?

    If you have forgotten your password you will need to reset it. You can do this as follows:
     To recover your password, select one of the following options:

    • Email— Request an unlock code by email
    • Alternative Phone Number— Use an Alternative Phone Number to remotely reset your password
    • Customer Service Support— Contact Customer Service Support if you are unable to use any of the other options.

    Enter your PINS username in the Please fill in your email address (the email address used to register to PINS) and Please confirm your email address! fields. Click on Forgotten Password and Submit. Check the email address under which you have registered PINS. If you cannot find the password recovery email in your Inbox check your Spam folder(s) as well. The email will be titled: PINS: Change of password. In the email click on the red and underlined “link” word. This will open a new webpage where you need to enter your new password twice and click on Submit.

  • PINS App for Windows Phone and Apple iOS is coming soon. We have launched PINS App for Android first to get feedback on the solution. Hence, PINS App for Windows Phone and Apple iOS will be available soon.

Yes, it is possible to use PINS Mobile Security for Android on a dual-SIM device.

With PINS, losing your phone doesn’t mean you’ll never see it again. PINS Recovery team assist you in recovering your mobile device back (with information of the device exact location and photos of the perpetrator). We offer recovery services for your missing device. Once it is confirmed that your mobile device is lost or stolen you have the option to send a text message with an activation code (the default is PIN12345) to customer support team or contact the PINS recovery team to report your device missing. Also, you can also go online, sign in to your PINS dashboard manager and flag the device as stolen. This activates the stolen mode. PINS Recovery team will start working in the background, delivering crucial evidence such as gathering data from the device about its location, as well as taking pictures in the background from the device ‘s camera. Automatically, periodic updates will be sent to PINS recovery team with the device’s location, attempt to connect to nearby open wireless networks to send its location that way, and alternatively, you can remotely back up and wipe your data. Find my phone also has a geofencing feature which allows you to set a location geofence so that you can follow locations and will be notified once the target device leaves your predefined area. How it works

  • Downloading PINS App will automatically trigger device screen lock and allow Antitheft to monitor your devices screen lock.
  • Antitheft will email you if an intruder tries to unlock your screen with wrong PIN, password or pattern.
  • Triggers alert at Airplane mode enabled

It also does real time geo-coding and mapping to triangulate exact position even when network service is bad. Both GPS system and the signals from Wi-Fi spots closest to the target device can be used as the sources of data to track phone location.

Sim Tracking warns you if someone inserts a new Sim card into your lost or stolen device. It even shows you the new mobile number, location of your mobile device and photo of the perpetrator; these help you recover your lost device easily.

PINS App remotely wipe off all sections on the device or you can pick and choose sections to wipe out from your dashboard manager when your phone is lost or stolen. Remote Wipe feature will delete contacts, messages, emails, pictures, and the SD card content from your device. You have the option to select the files you want to delete.

Log into your Dashboard Manager online and trigger Find My Phone.

  • Login to your PINS Dashboard at https://www.pinssolutions/dashboard;
  • Using top right menu, select Dashboard Manager;
  • Select Find My Phone option and click on the button 
  • Now, you will see the exact location address where the device is currently at.

Note: You must install PINS App on your phone or tablet prior to this.

  • Log in to your PINS App account.
  • Click on Diagnostics/Insurance and Run Diagnostics Only
  • Follow the instruction to Test Result

In general, PINS App needs to be consistently logged in on your phone for our services to function properly. Please, contact customer service support if you wish to log out of PINS App for any reason

If you have a PINS subscription on your mobile device, and you want to cancel automatic renewal of your subscription, you, contact customer service support or login to your portal online, click on Subscription and then More Options. A new prompt will be displayed, in which you can click Disable, to confirm your action, click on Disable Auto-Renewal.

Your backup with us is extremely safe. All the data you upload is in turn backed up again on our servers. All uploads and downloads go through secure SSL transfers. The transfer of your data to our servers is by default encrypted with an AES 256 encryption protocol, to maximize the security of your information. The files themselves are then encrypted using same protocol once on our servers and can only be accessed by using your username and password.
